Andaman and Nicobar Administration will conduct a Written exam for recruitment of Radio Operator/Cipher Operator and Radio Technician.
Radio Operator/Cipher Operator
Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for the A & N Administration Radio Operator/Cipher Operator written Exam is as Follows :-
Written Exam followed by Physical Endurance Test.

Exam Syllabus : Exam Syllabus for A & N Administration Radio Operator/Cipher Operator written Exam is given below:-
Paper-I : In this paper, a candidate’s general knowledge on current affairs, important happenings around him in the country/abroad. Indian History, Polity, Geography, scientific research and reasoning will be tested as is expected of any educated person.
Paper-II : In this paper, a candidate’s understandings of English language, its correct usage and writing ability would be tested. Questions on grammar, usage, short essay, letter writing, prĂ©cis, paragraph/report writing and translation would be included.
Paper-III : In this paper, a candidate’s knowledge on simple mathematics, physics, electronics, computers and other science subjects will be tested with questions mainly of high school standard.
Radio Technician
Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for the A & N Administration Radio Technician written Exam is as Follows :-

Paper-I : In this paper, a candidate’s knowledge in Basic Electronics, Digital Electronics, Power Electronics, Communication Systems, Radio waves, Antenna, Basic computer, A.C. theory and Microwave Engineering will be tested.
Paper-II : In this paper a candidate’s understanding of English and Hindi languages, their correct usage, simple mathematics, reasoning and general knowledge will be tested.
