Sikkim Public Service Commission (SPSC) will conduct a Written exam (Preliminary) for recruitment in the junior grade of Sikkim State Civil Service as Under Secretary and equivalent on temporary regular basis.
Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for Under Secretary written Exam (Pre) is as Follows:-
► The written test will be multiple choice/objective type.
► The Examination shall comprise of two compulsory papers.
► Each question paper consist of 300 marks.
► The time duration will be 02:30 hours (150 minutes) for each paper.

4) Indian Polity and Governance-Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights & Issues, etc.
5) Economic and Social Development -Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector initiatives, etc.
6) General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change-that do not require subject specialization.
7) General Science.
