DLW Scout & Guide quota Exam Pattern & Syllabus

Indian Railway Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW) will conduct a Written exam for recruitment of for the various pay band posts against Scouts & Guides Quota.

Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for the DLW Scouts & Guides Quota Exam is as Follows:-

► The Written test will be Multiple Choice/Objective type.
► The question paper consist of 50 marks.
► There will also be a Personality Test/Interview of 15 marks after exam.

FOR POSTS in PB-1 Rs. 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1,900/- : History of Scouting/Guiding; Law and Promises; Organization District/ State Level; Training Centre District/ State Level; Knowledge of Books; Scouting for boys/Guiding for girls in India; Motto left hand shake; salute; Prayer; Flag song; National Anthem; Know the National & Scouting Flags; Social Services at various occasions; Hiking; Proficiency Badges; How these are earned? Stages in  Scouting/Guiding. Thinking Day; Progressive training of Scout/Guides/Rovers/Rangers; Pioneering Handicrafts; Indian railway Jamboree; National Jamboree; Jamboree on the Air. Organization at National Level; National Training Centers, WAGGGS/WOSM! Uprastrapati Award Competition Prime Minister Shield Competition; Community Development Programmes; Aims and Methods of Scouting; How Scouting is useful in producing better citizens ?
