Shipping Corporation of India had conducted written exam on 07 September, 2014 for recruitment of Trainee Marine Engineers. SCI had declared the result for the TME exam.
Candidates who were declared qualify in the Online written test will have to appear for Personal Interview in the Ratio of 1:3 (3 Candidates called for 1 vacancy) keeping provision of reservation for OBC/ SC/ ST in view. SCI holds the Right to short listing method for Final Selection.
After Final Short Listing Candidates has to undergo 12 months shore based training at MERI Mumbai & METI Kochi. Fee for Training Rs 3, 00, 000 (Approximately Rs. Three Lakhs).
Note:-
- Candidates who were qualified in the Interview will undergo Medical Test, it will take 2, 3 days.
- Candidates have to stay in Mumbai for Medical test for their own expenses.
- A notarized Indemnity Bond will be obtained from each selected candidates before joining the vessel.
