Rajasthan PSC Junior Legal Officer Exam Pattern & Syllabus

Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) will conduct a Written exam for recruitment of Junior Legal Officers in Law and Legal Affairs Department, Rajasthan.
Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for the Junior Legal Officer written Exam is as Follows :-
► Written Exam will be Objective Type four question papers.
► Each Question Paper consists of 150 Questions.
► There will also be negative marking for every wrong answer.
► Each Paper shall be of 03:00 hours duration.

Exam Syllabus : Exam Syllabus for Junior Legal Officer written Exam is given below :-
PAPER I
Constitution of India with special emphasis on Fundamental Rights, Directive Principles and enforcement of rights through writs, Functioning of High Courts and Supreme Court and Attorney General.
PAPER II
Civil Procedure Code and Criminal Procedure Code, Provisions required to be referred generally in Government Offices will be given importance.
PAPER III
Evidence Act, Limitation Act, Interpretation of Statutes, drafting and convincing.
PAPER IV
Pert-I (Hindi-Grammar)
1. Word Formation : Compound, Prefix and Suffix etc.
2. Types of Word :
(a) Corresponding, semi-corresponding, Indigenous, foreign words etc.
(b) Noun, Pronoun, Adjective, Verb, Indeclinable (Relation Indicator, Verbal Adjectives, exclamation)
3. Knowledge of Words : Synonyms, Antonyms, One word substitution, Sense of synonyms word etc.
4. Word Correction
5. Grammatical Categories : Postposition, Gender, Speech, Tense, mood, aspect, Voice etc.
6. Sentence Formation
7. Sentence Correction
8. Uses of Punctuations
9. Idioms/Phrases
10. Definitional Dictionary : Administrative, Legal (Especially).
Part-II (English Grammar)
1. Tenses
2. Determiners
3. Phrasal verbs and Idioms
4. Active & Passive Voice
5. Co-ordination & Subordination
6. Direct and Indirect Speech
7. Modals expressing various concepts-(Obligation, Request, Permission, Prohibition, Intention, Condition, Probability, Possibility, Purpose, Reason, Companions, Contrast.)
